I know it - it's on or minds too... you know, I've been thinking about your gardening options, and containers are a great way to get some instant gratification. Have you thought of this?
My need is not to plant and grow food as much as it is to improve and beautify our surroundings. We've got a lot of cement and weeds and ugly plants. I can't jackhammer the cement myself, but there may be other, smaller things I can do, like dig out the ugly plants and put in something nicer.
